  • 218 polio cases compared to 620 in 2011 i.e. 65% reduction

Cases by country varied with Nigeria being an issue:

Nigeria 118 cases up from 50 in 2011

India Nil cases down from 1 in 2011

Pakistan 58 cases down from 189 in 2011

Afghanistan 35 cases down from 74 in 2011

Non endemic countries 6 cases down from 335 in 2011
